You are? What about the postage you're paying, and the book you no longer have?
Edit: ah, it would work as long as RM are giving you adequate compo. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

I'm just curious, are you selling books or something else?
I sell lots of books and very rarely have a problem, there was one occasion where I had to refund as the book was lost in the post and I ended up making more profit than I otherwise would have

Didn't Soolin once have a problem from where she was posting from? Maybe it's linked to location rather than type of item?
The label that I put on the back of my envelopes, state 'Your Amazon Marketplace Purchase from FunkyMonkey's Bookshop' and then my return address - letting peeps know that it probably contains a book and isn't worth pinching.

Im mainly selling dvds, but all sorts that I can make on. I post at loads of different post offices and post boxes, as i sell so much that it takes ages to go to the post office every day if i dont put a few stanps on them. All of the packets have my return address on.0

does this large rise in items not delivered coincide with the recent postal strike as items could simply be still being processed whilst they deal with the backlog, which some areas are still reporting!
Also, before refunding ask the buyer to confirm their address, many use an old or incorrect one!
As an anti-fraud device use an email address separate to the one you use with amazon in the packing slip, if they contact to complain of non-delivery on that you know they are trying to defraud you!
Check with your local sorting office if they are having unusually high rates of lost mail, and ask if they can investigate why your rates have increased so much.Do You Twitter?
