                    Hi all
I really hope someone can help with this. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 and, to be honest, it has been a nightmare to set up, but I am getting there. One thing is a major problem though. I have tiny ear canals and I cannot use earbuds that go inside the canal. I am more than happy with the iPhone style earbuds, but they don't work well with the Galaxy.
I need that style of earbuds, but that will work with the Galaxy S5, will have a microphone and will allow me to answer calls and set volume, etc. This seems to be a very difficult thing - to my great surprise.
I did look at the Bose ones, but wow, they are not moneysaving! There are several Skullcandy ones on Amazon, but they don't say whether they will work with the Galaxy.
Any ideas, please.

All the mobile phone earbuds will work with all the models. It's a standard connection, nothing different on Samsung, Motorola, LG, etc etc. even apple iphones.
If you don't believe me, take a look on ebay or amazon, you will see the same earbuds being sold for all the different models these as an example
So, find some that you like and buy them. they will work with your S5 !
oh, and if you really struggle to get buds to fit your tiny ear canals, go to a hearing aid shop on your high street, they can obtain these kind of accessories for you.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. 0 0

Thank you for the reply, easy. The problem is the ones you have linked to are the very ones I can't use. And I have read reviews on a lot of models on Amazon and in many, many of them people say that the call answer or the volume control does not work on various Galaxy models. I don't know the technical reasons for this, I am simply going by the reviews.0

No other thoughts on this? Anyone have experience of earbuds that don't go into the ear canal?0

Every other type of headphone? There are literally thousands that don't go in the ear canal0

Um, where are you seeing thousands. I did specify the iPhone-type ones. They are flat and go into the ear, but into the ear canal. There are a few models available on Amazon, but many of them have reviews that say they don't work properly on the Galaxy phone. I.e. they work for music, but not to answer a call, or they work fine for calls, but you can't change the volume. And so on.
I went to HMV in Westfield and they had literally not one single pair of earphones of that design. Not one. They all go into the ear canal.
I am not looking for overear phones. That was why is specified earbuds.
I really do hope someone can help. I want to order the ones on Amazon, but if they are not going to work, they will be wasted. And I have yet to find someone that will take back earbuds after you have opened them.0

            Thank you. That helps!
What I mean is this - do you know what the iPhone earbuds look like? They are kind of flat. So they go in the ear but not into the ear canal. The Samsung ones have the little point thing that goes right inside the ear canal. But it doesn't fit. So it just hurts. And falls out. So I am looking for the ones that look like the iPhone ones, but will work on a Samsung.0
