Hi
I opened a Junior ISA with Nationwide about a year ago now but didn't get round to putting any funds in there (they are currently in another account). I want to setup a Stocks and Shares ISA with Charles Stanley Direct - no I need to transfer it over from CSD even though I haven't got any funds in it...or can I close it at the Nationwide end and just open a new one at CSD?
Many thanks

A child may have both a stocks and shares JISA and a cash JISA.

You might wish to split the allowance?0 -
If it's an S&S JISA, you'll have to transfer it, I think, as you are only allowed one.
JISAs can't be closed, except on the death of the child.0 -
It's a Junior Cash ISA0

In which case just ignore it as it's fine to have a cash & a S&S JISA.0
