I have an account with FD so that I can access the regular saver.

In the four years or so I've been with them, I may have had to telephone five or six times, no more, and don't recall any problems/long waits etc.

A once a month check on the account just to verify that the DDs/SOs etc are all in order isn't onerous - the "old fashioned" site doesn't worry me.

I use FD. Best bank. Had my wife added to my 1st acc 3 years ago. Very painless all direct debits transferred. No problems. As for security questions, its all stuff that never changes anyway. One's mother can only have one maiden name. Ones first car will always be their first car? Surely its not rocket science?

Btw I managed to get a £25k loan in literally 120 seconds using their website. Easy money...
The fact that that information does not change makes it a very bad security question.

Same old OLD story if you like them, then stay with them !
just don't let them be the best account because no one else
    votes for other banks .

WE ,,, with other accounts must vote NEXT time !

WILL PROBABLY MISS IT like the last few years

    :(

I'm another 'no to FD' I'm afraid.
Tried to switch to them and got stuck with an unhelpful staff member. Couldn't be bothered to persevere, others offer as good.
I too wonder how they get voted No 1.
    How indeed!!
