  • Hester, I am so sorry for your loss. You did your very best for MIL, but I worry there is more hassle to come for you.

    Sending hugs and love

  • HESTER I'm very sorry for your loss, one certain fact though is that your MIL knew she was so well loved and that you and your DH cared so much about her that you literally moved heaven and earth to get her the care and relief that she needed, her end was the most peaceful and kind that you could achieve and I'm certain she will have appreciated all you both did for her more than words can express. I hope your heart is feeling relief that her ordeal is now over as well as the inevitable sadness at losing someone you love. Take care of yourselves and FIL too, Lyn xxx.

Hester....I dont think that I could express any better than Lyn has done my condolences on MILs death......look after yourselves as grief can be a delayed emotion.

OH is 75 today.....wouldnt go out for lunch or have a takeaway.....he is feeling very old I think! All offspring have been on with good wishes, I have taken messages as he finds it difficult to hear on the phone.

TA...I hope that Mr TA has not found his treatment too difficult.

Going to try to tempt OH with a cauliflower curry.
