Don't know how long we will have to wait but the LL works in Dubai and is away until xmas so I'm hoping the judge will say we don't have to attend a hearing and will accept a paper only trial-if not it will be over a year that we have been waiting for our money back which is a disgrace. He can totally afford to pay up and we totally can't afford to lose the money-he has acted so two faced and small minded over it all that i just want it to all be over-We will never rent again-we liked living there and my youngest son was a baby in the house but it has really soured our memories of living there. The LL's wife died very suddenly last year and we were so supportive and upset for him at the time but now i just want him to get his just deserts-this board makes you
aware that there are some people with morals around still. Which part of france are you from? It is our dream to eventually retire there and run a gite business-maybe in the Vendee.0 -
I send you all my support and really hope you will have a paper only trial and also that the landlord will pay EVEN if he is in Dubai. I guess it would be difficult to chase him there ?
I am from south west of France in Pau, but we left 10 years ago first to Luxembourg and then to England. And like you now we are homeowner and hope to never have to rent again !
Hope your dream will come true
