Should I get free EU roaming on 4GEE EXTRA?

When in the EU, I usually use the "EUDAY" thing to get unlimited calls/texts whilst roaming for £2 a day.

I've been on a 4GEE EXTRA plan for almost 2 years now. The bills mention I can get unlimited calls in Europe for £2 a day.

But here: http://explore.ee.co.uk/4gee-extra-plans-roaming-benefits it suggests that these calls should be free.

I had that old roaming on a EE xtra plan I got July 13, I have this saved on a notepad file(because we all know what Orange and T-Mob were like before be merger for billing 'issues)


Roaming Customers who join on or before 31 January 2014 will have roaming benefits included in their plan. This means your monthly payment also includes making and receiving unlimited calls and texts to and from mobiles and landlines in Europe and selected countries as follows, when roaming abroad in these countries:
(i) EE Roaming Zone: Austria, Azores, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Canary Islands, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, French Guyana, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madeira, Malta, Martinique, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Vatican..
(ii) EE Roaming Zone A: Armenia, Australia, China, Israel, Macedonia, Martinique, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA.
Calls and texts to premium rate numbers and other non-geographic numbers (which can vary over time) aren’t included. Your monthly payment does not include making and receiving unlimited calls and texts to and from mobiles and landlines in the aforementioned countries when using your phone in the UK.

Sorry to hijack your thread chattychappy but I think my question is relevant to the discussion.

I am looking to change my contract, really want to get the price as low as possible. I am on an Orange plan just now (have been with them since before they became part of EE).

I go to Ireland a lot each year and I phone there from the UK from time to time to make bookings for B&B and trips.

I note EE has EE extra plans and, on the plans listed there is something called inclusive EU roaming included in the plans. I struggled to find a complete explanation on their web site until I came upon the following page - http://explore.ee.co.uk/roaming/ee/ireland.

I just want to ensure I have not misread or misunderstood anything. Does this mean the following?

1. I can use my inclusive minutes to phone Ireland from the UK and pay nothing
2. If I receive a call from Ireland, I play nothing
3. If I am in Ireland and make a call to the UK, I can use my inclusive minutes and pay nothing
4. If someone from the UK phones me, I pay nothing?

Regarding point 4, would I pay nothing regardless of whether the person calling me was on a different network or calling plan?

I also had a look at 3's Feel at Home, which I believe is an equivalent plan but it is not clear on their web site if you can use your minutes to make calls to Ireland. I want to make sure, when negotiating a deal, I am comparing like with like.

Any help would be most appreciated.
