  • I am back, have had to go and see someone in a small market town about an hour away by train and then missed the train back by minutes, it was persisting down and had to wait 55 minutes getting soggy er by the minute.

Another small town tomorrow and do not have the energy to look up train frequency.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back
  • However I got some rather nice lace weight yarn and the new Caitlin Moran book in local charity shop so that part was a plus.
Why does so to correct assume that I cannot spell? See? Autocorrect, not what it has put.

  • Good evening everyone,

HH pleased to hear that MIL is more comfortable now she has been moved to a hospice. I hope her final days are pain free and her family stop fighting for her sake. Take care of yourself Hester.

Judi, sorry to hear about your DS you did the right thing. Take care of yourself as well.

RR good news for noodles. So glad it has been settled.

    (((hugs))) to everyone.

Well I'm so glad its Friday, I'm shattered:rotfl:

Yesterday DD who is 17 came home from visiting friends in Bromley, I picked her up from the station and then she came home got changed and DH gave her a lift to go and meet some other friends and go bowling. Well she didn't get home until well gone midnight, so I'm not very happy with her at the moment. I shall be glad when she's back at school next week, and we can get into a routine and get back to the gym properly!

I'm not doing much this evening, although I will put a load of towels on in a minute and I have a load of ironing to do, so that will probably finish me off:rotfl:

Have a good evening everyone. x

Went to see Mother this evening. She is well. So glad i went and she was pleased to see me. We watched a bit of telly and she read a magazine i bought her on Tuesday. She doesnt reach for things but if you put them in her hands she will read them. Seems strange when all meaningful conversation has left her but she was reading out loud pretty well all bits that interested her.

No news about my son... except that he has gone to my eldest sons flat and taken the dog back.

    Sleep well all.
