Reporting in for the end of week. Just went upstairs to get my notebook to mark off my penny challenge and noticed DH had left £1 lying randomly. Swiped and into the pot it goes!
This week I had planned only to put any coins left in my purse into my pot and not notes. I paid for parking today with a £20 note as that was all in my purse and got all the change in coins. Now procrastinating trying to work out if I should stick to my only coin promise to myself!!!
It's been a stressful week, grandfathers funeral on Tuesday so that was £10 into a collection box and then today I've been giving evidence in court (I was the victim of an assault a step up from indecent, it's made the news already) so now sitting trying to work out more money saving and challenges while drinking prosecco left over from Christmas! No longer ...tobe! Also just found money in the bottom of my bag that my sister gave me at the funeral for stuff I got for her a while ago so it doesn't count in my eyes. £12 into the pot it goes!
Decided to keep £10 coins in my purse. Have just potted a total of £21.50 for this week again!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -

What can you mean Sue? i merely thought it would be very money saving to have home-made pants, and if jakes-mum is kind enough to make them it could turn into a nice little earner for her!
(You're right about David T, but don't tell my OH :rotfl: )
Oh, on topic, a few pennies potted today after a surprise lunch out with DS0
