Strangely happy this evening when my bill at the supermarket was just over £5 so I got lots of coins to pot!

Another £3 potted yesterday again as per my other MSE toiletries challenge. Feel that this may slow down a little now.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Morning all
    Hope everyone is well
I'm wondering if there is a way you could use a masonry drill bit to make a hole in the bottom of the sealed teramundi type pots? Obviously you'd then have to find a bung of some type to reseal it for the next year.
Not been shopping so can't do potting, I need a couple of bits this week so am hanging on to what's left in my purse incase I need to spend it. Shrapnel will be potted on Friday.

    Have a good day all

I hope all Potters have had a lovely Wednesday or as near it as possible! Certainly it was a beautiful day here, though a shower a little while ago, which DH & I were lucky to miss when out with our Lab. Another chilly day forecast for tomorrow, just right for Westie!!!! :rotfl: For all those of you who are poorly in any way, or maybe a little low for any reason here are some {{{hugs}}} to help a little, and get you well soon. :D

    I dont do cold, _pale_

Hang on a bit then, Westie, coz freezing's about to drop in any time now!!!!! :rotfl: January's never an easy month I agree....but looks as though we can rely on the - COLD for now!!!!!! :rotfl: Don't worry though as there's always a warm seat for you here. :D

No themstarrynights, not a ruler type ruler...a special metal one DH has had for years due to woodwork etc: then loads of coins all slide down it together..hubby and I have great fun!!!! :j:j Well done with the £2 coin, and it's really great that you're definitely staying with us all year! We're (so I'm told) the best thread on MSE.

Crikey, I'm not surprised, Seaotter, as it's almost a ruddy miracle to be THAT cheap!!!!! Don't go back for a while in case they realise they undercharged you! ;)

Not to worry, Daddybear, we always realise that there's more to life than SPC, at least you're still potting. Take care of yourself.

Well done, Val, but don't worry if it slows down as I guess it's inevitable really. When you're able to pot money it's brilliant, but if you're unable to it's perfectly ok. It happens to us all for various reasons. Just be happy and proud! :D

I've got 2 of them, mrs-moneypenny, and have just asked DH to be sure, and his reply: "If you do you risk cracking it, it's never worth it!" So, there you have it, and if you've got a lovely pot...keep it that way! ;)

Brilliant work saving, keza, and very well done to your DS!!! :T

You're doing soooo very well, savingpennies, keep up that great work.

A very wise decision, frasersmum, after all - if you can afford to - why not save it!! Don't forget the "Holding Pot" as is described in my 1st Post of Page 1, it helps keep you safe...your cash too. ;)

That's fantastic, Mumof2, very well done!!

Have a good evening, SPCers. :grinheart ...a a lovely Thursday! Don't forget your pots!
