Going to the park and library.
Drive to a nearby small market town to scour the charity shops and look round the church, followed by a cake (more often a Greggs doughnut on a bench than a quaint tea shop, but depends on your budget!)
Trip to a large local garden centre to look around (ours has a pet shop so we always spend ages looking at the rabbits, fish etc).
Major sort out of bedrooms, followed by taking junk to tip or charity shop and tweaking decor with new posters etc or moving furniture around.
    Cooking

Mine are currently making rice krispie nests..
They played outside most days tbh.
1 is at a friends today.. it is incredibly quiet without her.. and I thought she was the quiet one!
I don't think DS2 has actually got out of bed yet these hols.. I am considering getting him checked for anaemia tbh, he is always asleep!
We went to dentist.. that was apparently the highlight of the week.. they got a sticker!
    1 went ice skating

We are off visiting OH's family next week.

They are on console/ipad bans because they wouldn't stop squabbling and they refused to tidy their mess.. which found its way to the bin.. all toys are now neatly away! :D

We have emptied bins and gathered laundry and vacuumed (cue more screaming as small is terrified!) packed bags, been to shop and charity shop... all very cheap :)

Next week we are at grannies so a day with grandad, a trip to the park.. I might see if I can manage a cinema trip, a church visit.. ooh.. we could do a mooseum, there are a few freebies thereabouts.. it will depend on how well I can walk after (not) sleeping there. Again only the cinema will cost anything.

Thursday I have a college thing with DS3, he can't cope with going alone! .. then we are getting ready for going back to school.. all very boring really.

I take my son (9) to football games, go fishing, play on the computer with him. We also every now and again think of a meal to cook for the rest of the family and we go shopping to get the stuff and cook that. We have movie nights for the family. The wife reads with him, goes for walks with the dog etc.

I also have a step-daughter (20) but we hardly see her with her being at uni, working and having a bf. But we try every now and then to all have a family meal together, watch a movie, play board games etc.

But there are also times when we all want to be on our own and do our own thing.

The five year old is at a gymnastics club 8.30 til 3 then swimming with her Dad for an hour this evening. It was Forest School yesterday so she came home with her wellies (literally) full of water and I have a lumpy candlestick she made for me. Tuesday's Gruffalo "experience" was a total waste of time and money. I'm on a laundry/ironing marathon as we are going away for a week - she will be in heaven as she can swim every day, whilst I'm looking forward to a week without cooking. Just need to remember to put all gadgets on charge.

We are all busy most of the time at work or revising or with friends now DD is 17. We meet up about 9pm and watch a police drama together when we can. We have group chat set up so that we all know where we all are ha ha!
Never again will the wolf get so close to my door

Buy a copy of The Sun and you can get 5 free tickets to an Odeon kids movie showing with Sun Perks. You can get 5 tickets each week, though probably more if you register with more than one email address. Take your own drinks and snacks and its a free morning out.

What are you doing for the Easter school holidays? Frugal suggestions always welcome.

So far we have painted some pottery.

Intend to go for a bike ride, lots of dog walking and visit the local open farm. May even visit some National Trust properties.

We used to do national trust a lot. Also train rides to free museums. Swimming in the evenings.

Sounds to me like you are living for your family - not a bad thing, BUT - you do need to be YOU too!
Do you make a little time for yourself? your needs can get lost in priorities, but it is essential for your own self-esteem to meet at least some of them, some of the time!
if you do take some time for yourself - it makes you appreciate your family more I find.

Most men have an insatiable appetite for sex, women slowly grind us down though!

Sunday afternoon is generally always family time and we always do something together no matter what the weather, go for walk, ice cream etc.

It sounds like you already do lots of lovely things together. :)

Have you thought of geocaching if you like walking the dog? My son loves it...and sometimes there are boxes where you can take a 'trinket' as long as you swap it and leave something for the next person. DS likes to always have a badge, MatchAttax card or other small item to leave in case the 'treasure' is something he likes.

Picnics along with a long dog walk too. That way you can take foods you know you all enjoy.

We often have family movie night where we all sit and watch a film together and can talk about it afterwards. It's nice to all really zone-in and cuddle and watch something...it's amazing how often the tv is on but I have no idea what little-person show is actually on as I block it out with a cuppa.

We also have 'ritual' breakfast and tea time treats. Friday night we have 'hot chocolate night' where we all have hot choc. with marshmallows in (you could have anything you all like) and Sunday mornings are always breakfast in bed together as it's sheet washing day so spills don't matter. :)
