Day 4 - Ran out of milk and dog food, that's my emergency £5 broken into. Ah well - will be better prepared for next week. No spend day today. The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones. - Chinese Proverb

Day 5 - No spending, and today is the last day, tomorrow I have to pay for kids haircuts and do some extremely frugal shopping with a total of £40.00, leaving me approx £30 for the following week. I have lost my months meal plan though so will have to redo it.
Think I may join Moozies weekly challenge next week, as I've completed a weeks training even if not completely successful. The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones. - Chinese Proverb

Hi FJ, you may want to check the OS board - there has been a thread running on there about spending just £60 for a months shopping. Albeit that it is for 2 adults and one cat, but could be worth checking for ideas. It seems that it is entirely doable with plenty of variety in the menu. Good luck.0
