02 Bolt on issue

HI All,

I have a query about 02 bolts on and was wondering if any of you had any previous experiences with them.

I am an 02 customer and have been for 10+ years. I recently upgraded my phone including an 02 Refresh 500 24mth 500mb contract. (October 16th) I have always had two bolt ons which I did not change and have had for many years. 500mb (free) and another travel one (free). I am not a big user of data and have never passed 1gb so this has suited me fine for years.

Today I received a text message from 02 saying I am at 80% of my data allowance, 408mb to be precise which confused me. When I logged into my 02 account i believe i get 500mb with the contract and 500mb bolt on (1gb).

So i joined a live chat to see if its a computer mistake. I have been told that the 500mb 'bolt on' is actually the 500mb that comes with the contract and its the way its 'presented' to customers. I looked through my tariff online and its says 02 Refresh 500 24M, 500mb, unlimited texts on one side and then across the page states with 500mb UK data (free).

My previous contract which also came with 500mb of data and this 'bolt on', I never had an issue and have evidence of my data rising to 700 mb without an additional data charges on my bills. So I am confused and what would be my next step.

Download all your bills, look at usage, was it over 500MB before?

Does any old bill show 2 x 500MB
