    First, the child support is one of those debts that bankruptcy laws do not allow them to be downloaded. Whether or not receive the discharge in Chapter 7, still owe the same amount of child support that you had before, or more. Consequently, if you choose to declare bankruptcy, not with the purpose of eliminating your debt of child support.

    Probably a no, but lenders tend to invite you to apply again after 6 months as your circumstances may have changed and the decision might then be different.
