No settlement paided in full on both accounts with a reduced interest from 2007 to 2012 when I went to fos they froze it all together paided well over the 96 arrangement 10 months out of 12 so cleared them with in 5 to 6 years instead of 12', the balance reads 0 each month but payments in 1 pound payments out 1 but it has a red 6 on do you think putting them into postive balance will help, think I save a bit money and go back to the solicter just expensive

I dunno was just an of the cuff idea

presumably they are putting it into debit first, otherwise they couldn't report it as in arrears, so if you pay them £1 maybe it will put a stop to it, worth a try for a quid I suppose

Update the money was returned today with a letter saying these accounts are closed, so phoned was told the accounts being closed for transactions is different to them being reported ro credit reference agency s which has no bearing as they are reporting an agreement I made. Talked utter rubbish and said I do not not unsterstand financial accounts,
Spoke to the ico last week he said that the same letter was sent to mbna as to me and they have not replied to them and I would be in formed when they did
