Today received a response in there opinion the accounts should have been marked on special arrangement from 2008 , the monthly staus should read up to date as a new agreement was entered into over 144 months for x amount which was made on time as agreement , the accounts should be mark d settled no latter the 28 days after last payment made

They can not look at agreement or how it was obtained refer it to fos

It s not what I wanted the accounts defaulted in 2008 but all the 6 and late payments will be gone and the accounts closed and settled in full

Will the ico make them do it

I don't understand this at all, If they are paid off and they owe nothing then how can they justify not marking them as such,

Have you proof in writing that the accounts were settled? I had a similar issue and got it fixed through CRA simply by sending them the proof

No it was with fos for about 3 years ,which was rejected , then saw a local solicter who tried ico guidelines breach , which they seem to agree but will not challenge company just say make a fos complant.the solicter wants to go further but worried about the costs down to the last 3,500 pound to pay to 2 other credited then it s nearly 70000 pound of debt cleared, what grounds would cra look at it please

Just open a dispute, say should be marked as settled, and send them the evidence that its settled, Did exactly the same and they marked it as settled

But you said you settled it? So did they send you a settlement offer in writing, which you then paid, and they then confirmed it was paid?
