Hello! this last year iv been a tad silly, i applied for an overdraft (obviously credit checked me).. but then applied for increase a number of times, do they check each time? (im with barclays) anyway, now iv paid it all back and want to cancle to Overdraft, do they check again when i cancel? I ask because in april i want to start looking for a house and will want to applyfor a mortgage, and obviously dont want a large amount of checks on my credit history? would it go in mh favour considering iv paid it back and cancled it?
Any advice would be brilliant as im twisting my melon over this! constantly worrying about not getting accepted! I can afford one! and have a decent deposit! just silly things like my previous overdraft im worried about!
Thanks! :A

Keep it but stay out of it, assuming it's not running into the thousands.0

no its not, £950 to be exact..0

So you've used your overdraft and paid it back ? That seems like a sensible grown up use of emergency credit.0

Hi
There shouldn’t be any reason to check your credit file and leave a search footprint just to cancel an overdraft.
