Personally i would be asking myself what do i need and what will it cost brand new .
Do you actually need a watercooled top end PC .
I would pay for a used PC of that spec no more than £500 .Even more so as their is no builders warranty or SOGA .

you would never get a used pc of that spec for £500.

But the question has to be do i want a top end card do i want water cooling .
Is the OP going to make use of the extra £500 worth of stuff over a standard new machine .

My machine was similar in its day but truth be told all the extra power was never required .
  • Hi

Thanks for all the great advice.

Yes the graphics card needs to be gtx 980ti and they are pricey. The games being played require at least gtx 970 so i am trying to stretch a bit more.

The only issue i have is i am not techy enough to be able to test it properly but it seems like decent parts used.

    Xx

Meh It's a gaming machine and its a pretty common config for a high end spec. Required is a bit more flexible when It comes to gaming as there is a bit of personal preference but if you want 4k gaming or 60fps+ @ HD resolutions that's the spec you go for.
