Cancellation Issues on Vodafone
Hello
Has anyone else heard of this ludicrous 'rule' from Vodafone that I was told about today?
My contract ends on 17/12/2015 - so today I contacted Vodafone to give sufficient notice (30 days minimum) that I did not want to continue with them and that they should terminate it on the termination date (above).
On chat and from a 'cancellation expert' I was told that I could only do this on 17/11/15 and no other way.
If 'Barbara' took my cancellation instructions today she could only terminate on 02/12/2015 and I would be charged for 'ending my contract early'.
Clearly this is not what I intended to happen and feel that Vodafone are giving me the 'run around' and may be acting 'illegally'?

You could challenge Voda term section 10.1
It does not say xx days notice, it says one month, Dec follows Nov so therefore you have given a months notice, Voda terms does not explicitly define a month as a 28/29/30/31 day period. I would be back on chat with this and email yourself copies of such.
http://www.vodafone.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/business/mobile/general-terms/previous-terms-and-conditions/general-terms-for-business/SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe
