I was with Eclipse landline but then dumped them in favour of T-mobile Web n Walk datacard on my laptop. I still use the Eclipse mail account settings for incoming email and T-mobile SMTP for outgoing mail. However the Eclipse email servers seem to crash every couple of days resulting in no email. I don't think that T-mobile have a pop server.
Is it possible to have a stand alone pop server that one can use thus avoiding using webmail. If so are there any suppliers out there where one can register for their email server only? Hope you understand what i am trying to get at.

Hundreds, if not thousands! Here are two random examples
If you don't want to pay and don't mind an email address like surferuk2007@yahoo.co.uk use someone like www.yahoo.co.uk
If you are prepared to pay a few pounds a year to have an address of your choosing @surfersdomain.co.uk use someone like www.1and1.co.uk0 -
BT Yahoo mail, £1.50 per month0

Can you use Outlook with any of the above or are they web based? Thanks.0
