Do you think so? Most of the minces seem to be less than £1 per pound,
I suppose it is at the higher end of the quality scale, and the people I know who use it are feeding cats who tend to be much fussier than dogs I guess.

The cheaper suppliers tend to be about 50-70p per pound. Cheaper end of the scale though, it's all about what you want to spend and what you expect from it.

Not that cheap is always bad and expensive good though - different pricing structures for different businesses, funnily enough my local DAF stockist sells things to me cheaper than I can buy them from direct at times, obviously they get a better price from DAF as a shop and decide to pass this discount on, whereas DAF have to factor in courier charges, packing staff costs, etc. and sell in smaller quanties when selling direct. And there's a cheaper supplier (Bulmer) that lots of people rave about - but they have a minimum order of 150lb, so they save on costs by not dealing with lots of small orders.

My local supplier sells Bulmers cheaper than I can get it anywhere else but they are 5p-10p a lb more on MVM, although they have great offers on a full box of 24 with a different meat on offer each month. Great if you have the storage to always pick up the offers but not so great if you are limited for space.
