Booking British Gas Annual Service

BG are sending me (by mail) reminders that I have not yet booked our annual HomeCare boiler service. It's not for want of trying!
Each time I go into my online account and try, it only offers me one 2-hour slot, no option to choose another day or time, and the two I have been offered so far were not suitable as no-one would have been at home.
I've also kept trying their 'britishgas.co.uk/booking' page, where I enter my booking code, but every time it takes me to an Error page. Other people have reported this problem in online discussion forums so it's not just me doing something wrong.
Is there a British Gas representative on this forum? If so could he or she look into what is going on?

I've always found there are fewer appointment slots on-line than if you call them - so why not just ring.

I'll probably have to resort to that, but having phoned them in the past I've lost the will to live after 15 minutes of recorded over-loud c.rap, interspersed with the usual "we are very busy at the moment..." every few seconds, they are possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with by phone.
I just wish their online systems worked properly, otherwise what's the point of having them?I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe0
