Using radio apps abroad

Can I use a radio app, to listen to a UK station, using hotel WiFi, in a European country, like Belgium or Germany?

Maybe. The BBC for example is blocking iPlayer from outside the UK.

if you download the app from the UK and go on holiday abroad, the app will work outside the UK.

Try Tunein. It's a good worldwide radio app.

I listen to BBC stations on it via mobile and wifi but I am located in the UK.

Ask them on their website.

That's what I was wondering. I know BBC I-Player TV is blocked outside the UK, and wondered if radio is likewise blocked.

I tried downloading the app, but it said there was nothing there :huh:

Anyway, I installed Tunein, instead.

Not really concerned about recording or listening offline.

I really only want to be able to listen to some English speaking programmes, and some English language news.

I've got the Heart app on my phone.currently in Spain seeing the daughter and it works fine through their internet/wifi
