where to leave bad company reviews

Ive a bad experience with axa breakdown recovery service. They said they would provide something to me, when on the phone, then when recover turned up, he did not provide it. Leaving me waiting around for over 1.5hours.

I want to know which is best website to leave a bad review.

Already made a complaint and got a callback from one of their managers, who basically said it was my fault for breaking down, I should have been more careful and thats was that, thanks for calling us....

Eh... people do breakdown, batteries go flat, people do run out of petrol, people forget stuff thats why we pay for breakdown cover...

Just type "axa reviews" into google and see what comes up that seems a good place to leave a factual review.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Quite an unbelievable thing for a manager to say and I would suggest that your "who basically said" suggests he didn't actually say that.

Just remember any review you make has to be factual or it's liable. They will most likely record the calls so just be sure of your facts before you write it.

AXA seem to provide a number of different policies with different levels of cover. e.g. Recovery to home or final destination is not available with 'Roadside' but is with 'Rescue' and the others

I am not sure whether your complaint relates to not being provided something that should have been provided under your specific policy or it relates to being given the wrong information on the telephone.
If the former, you should certainly ask for their official complaints procedure. The latter may be more difficult if you were expecting something not covered...however they should take your complaint re being given the incorrect information on the phone (so you would not hung about and could have made other arrangements)

Running out of petrol isn't breaking down - it's more like leaving your brain at home and to keep you waiting a whole 90 minutes too-Perhaps the mechanic couldn't leave a previous customer half fixed before driving to your location to assist you.

i dont want to go into details here. And yes he did actually say you shouldnt have broken down and i know what he meant. I agree i should have been more careful but then whats the point of having cover. If you ever banged you car while driving, you dont plan it (hopefully...) but it can happen even if you drive carefully but thts why you have insurance to cover you. otherwise what are we paying for.

I know lots of people go for cheapest option which then means in the event that you need to use the policy cover you end up paying for everything, expenses, excesses yourself.

One issue was this. the operator told me when the recovery guy comes down you can pay him using credit card details. When he did come down he said he had no facility to take any card payment... and i only had card details.

    How was that resolved then?

Surely on that particular point it doesn't matter what you were told on the phone.
If you only had card details then that was the only way you could pay whatever you were told on the phone.

Is this one of those threads where we're slowly drip fed information?

OP, if you don't want to go into details here then what do you want? Post #2 answered your initial question, is there anything else you need?

    Really?

When I enter "axa reviews" into google the first item returned is uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.axa.co.uk.
