Cheers Grumpy, just tested this on W 10 Pro and security policy has no effect.

Go for a 5 minute nap and the World has changed again.

    Edit:

Quick bit of digging and you can set up an Assigned account (pro and above only) which currently gives access to only one universal app. However perversely if you already have the guest account active (see comment at bottom of referenced article) when you do the in place upgrade the guest account is still active after upgrade:

Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.

Initially when you log in, windows password is required, after that he must have logged into Ms mail account, the question is how does that replace windows password without any one changing it.

    Seb
It doesn't. What happened was one of two possibilities:
    • When the 'friend' logged into hotmail they changed the account on Windows 10 from the local account of the OP to the Windows account of the 'friend'. Why the 'friend allowed this to happen is unknown because they would have been asked to confirm this step.
    • The 'friend' added their Windows account to the computer. Why they did this without asking if it is OK is unknown.

For the first possibility what needs to happen is the 'OP' needs to get the friend to log in and then they go through the procedure to change the account back to a local one.
With the second possibility the OP needs to switch the username back to themselves and log in as normal.
