Warning over TSB switch

Tried setting up online TSB account and passed the credit check and then found out there is a system glitch that will not allow you to get past stage 4 where you enter your local branch details. Seems to be a known problem (going back to June 2015 which is still not resolved).
Rang TSB and they advised to try in 24 hours with a different browser but could not guarantee it would work - so that will leave another credit mark on your file.

what glitch is that? what is required at stage 4? Lots and lots of people have successfully opened TSB accounts recentlythere is a system glitch that will not allow you to get past stage 40 -
you have to pick a branch and their system will not allow you to pick one and it gets stuck in a loop.
i was told the application will leave a credit check0 -
I applied just earlier this week without any issues, picked the nearest branch. Perhaps issue with a specific browser but worked fine on safari0

Had something similar with a Halifax application recently. When I rang to ask if they could retrieve and progress the application, they said I would need to apply again but that they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't do the same.
Unsure if it left a search, but yet to try applying again.0 -
