Thank you rdone for starting us off for another month.
I am away for a few days from tomorrow, so will do a new PP list when I return, have lots to do in the morning that I should have done today, so I hope that I do not forget anything, would hate to have to buy because I have left essential items at home:(, now that is a complete change of heart, a year or so ago I would have just thought, oh never mind I will just buy another one:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. The BS neroli jasmine shower gel is gone already so one of pp list, good start to November
I put on the October thread what I thought of it.

I'm continuing to play in the background. We got back from Italy yesterday. Flying hand luggage only gave me a chance to use up lots of travel size products (1 mini deo, 1 tube of curl cream, 1 body lotion, 2 sachets of hair conditioner, 1 shampoo, 1 foot cooling treatment and 2 mini toothpastes).
I have a number of full size products spluttering so hopefully this will be a productive month. I am also going to continue targeting my collection of miniatures. I have always saved them for travel, but
a) my collection has exceeded the amount of travel that I do
b) they are not my HGs so I always feel like I am 'making do', whilst holidays are supposed to be about spoiling yourself.
I have travel bottles into which I can use to decant products I DO like using for future travels. There is no logic to keeping these sachets etc.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Thanks to rdone for starting us off again this month, I am in again.
My two key aims (aside of only buying what I really need) are:-
- To wear make up more often (I probably manage once a week at the moment)
- To get back into a proper bedtime routine. Since I went back to work I am falling back into old habits of dozing off on the sofa and not doing a proper facial routine at night all the time and that needs to stop.
I have some UU from last month:-
- L'Occitane Verbena Shower gel, full size. WNBA - smells lovely but expensive and has SLS in it. If I am going to splash out I'd rather go for one of the lovely REN or Balance Me shower gels that are SLS free.
- Clarins eye contour balm, full size. WNBA - it's ok at best and the only good thing I could say is it lasts forever. I gave up and finished up putting all over my face and neck a couple of times just to get rid of it.
- Nivea soft face and body cream. WNBA, feels nice enough but it's got petrochemicals in it.
- Guinot Hydrazone peax 3ml sample - I love guinot facials but I've never really been able to establish how natural their products are, so I am not inclined to buy.
- REN V-cense night cream 15ml sample - WBA, love the scent of this, the frankincense is so relaxing and it's a nice texture, not too greasy. I don't need a massively heavy night cream as I use a rich facial oil underneath.
- Aveda Be Curly curl enhance - full size. Love this product, turns my hair from frizzy to lovely defined curls. Already replaced.
And now some INs. I went to Debenhams with a £30 voucher I was given for my birthday a month ago and I wanted to try to get some nice travel sizes to put in my wash bag to take to the gym I've joined at work. I added £4 to the voucher to buy what I wanted, and spending over £30 gave me a free gift which is meant to be valued at £36, so I think I got a pretty decent deal.
Here's what I got:-
3 x 100ml shower gels (super hydrating, rose otto and revitalising)
4 x 30ml travel pack, shampoo and conditioner, revitalising shower gel and body wash.
10ml radiance facial oil
50ml restore and replenish cream cleanser
15ml restore and replenish face cream
5ml rose otto facial oil
Balance Me is one of my favourite brands and I love the products I've used from them so far. I've been wanting to try the shampoo and conditioner and didn't want to buy full size ones as my scalp often doesn't get on with what I try, so this is a good chance to check them out.0 -
Thanks for the new thread rdone. Am in again however don't have a PP list as such as those items that are spluttering are my everyday skincare routine as follows:-
LE C&P 30ml - evening cleanser. Have 250ml total in stash. 100ml usually lasts myself and Emma 2 weeks so this should equate to 5 weeks worth. Won't need to repurchase this month.
LE IBST 30ml. Have a further 200ml in stash so won't need to repurchase.
Travel sized MUFE eye make up remover. Have 100ml LE Eyebright I can use when this is gone so no need to repurchase.
Have a L'Occitane Jasmine and Bergamot shower gel that has about 1/5th left in it so want to finish this off.
Want to use up all sample sachets this month. Made a start yesterday. UUed 2 x Aveeno lotion. Didn't like it - left my skin sticky. UUed 1 x L'Occitane Ultra rich cream. OK product.
Do want to make more effort in the evenings applying hand cream, oil to cuticles, foot cream and Vaseline to under eye area.
Do not want to buy anything.
Have sorted out make up bag for the week:-
Ultra sun 30SPF moisturiser - needs to be finished.
Laura Geller Spackle
Laura geller balance n brighten
Laura geller illuminator
Lorac pro eyeshadow palette
Cargo blusher (must keep this out as it was in my Finish 4x4)
Chanel lipgloss, Korean flash dance lipgloss and Laura geller lipstick called Kiss.
For fragrance I'm going to alternate between L'Occitane jasmine and bergamot and amber and Santal.
Did UU VS hair colour ant yesterday too.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Forgot one other UU
- TBS wild cherry body butter 50ml. I think this was a freebie some years ago. I used to love TBS body butter (and still have some lurking in my stash) but I am not keen these days. Partly as their policy on things like parabens etc. isn't clear (in some products, not in others) and I'd rather go somewhere where I don't have to read all the labels in detail and partly because a lot of their products smell a bit artificial to me now. This one was a classic example, smelled more like cherry sweets than anything natural and felt like it was aimed at a teenager.0 -
Hello all. I'd like to join again. I'm in for another month. I really lost track of my ins and outs last month. Partially due to guilt. I ended up buying 7 new perfumes
and now feeling that slump again of "why on earth did I do that". So I'm spending today gathering up ALL my makeup, nail polishes, perfumes and doing a full inventory and will be a lot more organised and regimental this next month. I won't list every single item on here, but I will keep a word document with all my items that I have.
So my goals for this month:
1. Make my list of everything I have to use up today
2. Continue making care packages for my friends to get these items out and into homes so they will be used
3. Try not to accept swaps and freebies for the sake of getting freebies unless it's to instantly regift to friends
4. NO MORE Perfumes and Lush items - I've gone on a massive spending spree with Lush and I need to use them up fast as they are meant to be used immediately instead of being hoarded
5. I will not buy anything else other than the 2 items that I set aside for my Christmas wishlist. Guerlain meteorites and Louboutin lipstick
6. Keep a more accurate log of my OUT's to motivate me along the way.
I can kick off this month with a few UU's and OUt's.
TA's - Lush strawberry massage bar - kept it so long that lost it's smell.
UU's - Lush cranberry face mask - shame this is limited edition, it made my skin feel very soft
GA's - I have made a gift box for a friend that included 10 perfume samples, 4 lush items
Sold 3x on evilbay
Total: 19 items
Good luck everyone for this month! No buying toiletries challenge
