  • I will be absent from the forums for a couple of days or so due to having my appendix out tomorrow morning. The fridge, freezer and cupboards are bursting at the seams with edible stuff, so OH has no excuse to go out buying food - I expect to have one or two more NSDs for the Cauldron of Doom when I return!

I hope it all goes smoothly Nargle.
Igor is busy making a nice bland version of his yummy sprouts vindaloo curry for when you come out as he has learned that you need a gentle introduction back to food after abdominal surgery. ;)
And we don't want any unnecessary slaving over hot stoves...
Mrs Doyle is going to be on hand to offer your OH countless nice cuppas, along with the odd egg sandwich.
I can't vouch for Cheffie,as he seems to be passed out in the rose garden after drinking too much fennel and horseradish aquavit, but he mumbled something about 'Nargle chicky inda bosky bork boom!',which I think means 'good luck for tomorrow.'.
    Bless him.
Hubert will be eagerly waiting in the wings to give you a big post op hug once the op is over, wearing his favourite heels and rara skirt. He's managed to find 13p more to add to his 'replace the Nargle underthings what I nicked' fund, meaning that he now has £1.47 collected.
I reckon he'll have enough money clobbered together to get you some nice undies by 2079.

    Ah,shucks!
    You're making us all blush....
Without you at the helm I'm not sure we would be able to fight the battle every month. ;)
I've lost count of the number of Jimmy Chews you've lent me over the years, plus keeping an eye on Igor's ever increasing chest wig fetish, giving solid fashion advice to Hubert (pink frou frou conical bra and polka dot donkey spanx with tassles do not make a good Booger Off cover shot) and then there's Cheffie...no one can handle his daily tantrums the way you can...
And as for 'handling' Mrs Doyle,I take my hat off to you. :)
Ever willing a have yet another cup of tea.....
  • A proper update shall be done tomorrow,as I am shortly going to saunter off to the land of nod.
Spending day here.I'm already spending next week's grocery money (Thursday to Thursday budgeting this month).

    It's Igor's fault,of course.
