Cars with LPG

I know that this is not popular in UK, but it is in continental Europe.
It depends on the country. Some countries, LPG is everywhere. Others, you really have to hunt hard for it.to be honest I really like to plot my route from one station to another.
And that's why LPG is unpopular. Joe Average wants to go from A to B and not think about fuel until and unless the light comes on. Then he wants a filling station THERE, right in front of him.0 -
For me the reason I wouldn't get LPG is compared to the diesel car I have now and the figures I saw at an LPG demonstration I wouldn't actually be saving any money. Plus I wouldn't want to be filling up more often as it is inconvenient.0

I mean I plot my route from one station to another only when I do more than 250 miles at once so during long trips. Apart from that the frequency of station is tolerable.
LPG is so much healthier for the environment, to be honest I don't care about CO2 emissions in particular (about 40% less CO2 on LPG, but road tax is only 10 quid cheaper?) but other chemicals like sulphur dioxide and other hazardous stuff that is emitting even 70% less of them.
This is only the case because of "endless" prosperity and people have no incentive to change, but for instance about 100 years ago because of an oil crisis cabs in London were running on a compressed air.0 -
Running on gas not compressed air? They did that in the war also due to petrol rationing.
A giant bag on the roof full of gas because they didnt have pressurised tanks to hand.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
