I had an instant cashback on a debit card recently. That seems to be how it works.

They can, of course, always take it back...

That's the problem.

Great outlook and I'm the same, pity a lot more people don't have a similar view.

I got the money refunded in my bank account after 3 weeks. For the first two weeks the bank asked to wait for Tesco's reply, which never arrived. After that, they opened a case. They refunded my account after a further week. After a couple of days, I received a letter from the bank confirming that. End of the story.

Hope this helps someone else.

firstly I'm amazed Tesco never offered you any kid of comp from your first call of non-delivery.

Secondly, I thought they phoned if they had delivery issues? Sainsbury's did for me when they couldn't find my address.

Thirdly, I had no idea these online food shops could deliver your food to neighbours.

Jesus Christ I need to check the Sainsbury's small print.
