If I was to buy one of these does the screen tell me which number/sim the caller has come from?

Say Sim 1 or Sim2, but also depends which one you buy some let you change the 'Sim 1' to whatever you want.

As only one of the SIM's is operational at any one time, you should know which one you have selected and you could check by storing something specific in the SIM, if it is two SIM's on the same network. i.e. not obvious from the network name displayed.

does that mean then that if one sim is in operation I won't receive calls from people that have dialled the other number?

    Nothing else will unless you:

    Get two phones,

Get a special dual sim phone

    OR activate call divert.

  • Orange has a line2 feature, allowing 2 separate numbers on 1 SIM and they're both "on" at the same time (although you can only txt from line1)
