    Exactly, that's what I said in post number 3 - they shouldn't assume their policy covers them for DOC, unless the other car is insured, and they should tax the car. Someone else then suggested I should have used 'may not' instead of the words I chose, I then explained why I chose them.

    What's not clear there? Where have I said they should just drive it and chance it?
