Although the behaviour of the staff could be considered rude, if a parcel is at risk of damage by being dropped on the floor it is not adequately packed.
Fragile items need to be packed very defensively especially when they are likely to be excluded from compensation in any case.0 -

This has already been discussed within the thread, but forcing and crushing any items under the window is not acceptable and could ruin many items even though they're very well packed and not fragile.
There's a difference between packaging for possible expected damage such as it being thrown into the back of a van and someone doing what they can to destroy any item (which is more than just being rude) as this person is doing.0 -
The post office probably already has CCTV cameras.
You can obtain a copy of the recording showing you handing in your parcel under a Subject Access Request to the shop. Cost £10.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
