Thankfully ive done everything i set out to do today. Looking forward to a relaxing evening. Still wading through lots of laundry though and i'm going to see if i can catch my daughter on Skype.

Mr LW tells me that when his Gran was nearing the end of her life, his Dad's youngest brother, who had never lifted a finger to help her, was suddenly all over her like a rash, and succeeded in talking her into leaving virtually everything to him.:(

I am home, better than this morning but v v tired. HH that all sounds very trying, I probably wouldn't manage that without some very sharp words. Hilstep, great news. My D has thoughtfully hung one of my work tops up in a very strange way, all out of shape and now will have to wash it again, well just rinse really.

Hester....am fuming about your inlaws........hugs to you and OH

Not a very nice day although we had some sun between the heavy showers, temperature around 12plus most of the day.

Had to get DD2s baptismal certificate this am, something to do with DGDs school I think....gone in post now. Then on to knitting group, enjoyable morning, finished off with coffee with one of the ladies. We are currently knitting tea cosies as a mutual offering to an organisation which helps families who have been affected by suicide......suicide is a huge problem here especially among young men.

Hilly....so pleased to hear your news...hope that you celebrated.

JackieO....hope that you all enjoyed your trip to the BBC.......would love to know where you get your energy from....would mortgage the house for some of it!

Judi....congratulations on completing your list for today.

TA.......Hope that you managed to close up caravan, sounds like a huge job, but hopefully will be worth it when you and Mr TA can enjoy it properly next year.

Time to let Mossy out for a final assault on the gremlins inhabiting the back garden.....or whatever he needs to bark at last thing. Sleep well everybody, speedy recovery to those who are unwell.
