I do wonder why you keep on with this - I might understand if you owned multiple homes in the area but you only have one don't you?
Surely you should want prices to come down in London - so you could move to somewhere much nicer than Wood Green. Muswell Hill or Southgate perhaps? What is your plan - retire and downsize to Tottenham?
The nicer areas will always go up more in value than the not so nice - and as prices go up the nicer areas move more out of reach.0 -

I've already managed to buy somewhere much nicer elsewhere, because of the equity made from Wood Green, thank you very much. Prices going up allowed that. A deflationary environment would have killed that possibility.
Ps the nicer areas won't always go up more, you are very wrong, make sure you own a decent period house somewhere like Wood Green because for London, it's the only place to make gains bar a few other cheap places in the next few years.
Whatever you do, dont encourage people to buy in 'nice' areas of London, they are really overbought.
With friendly advisors like you, who needs enemies ? Do you spread this wisdom to your family too ?Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -

Nicer inside London? So you moved within a short space of time? Or do you mean you remortgaged and bought a BTL or second home?0 -
They're no woods, and the only part that's green is the Cemetery, which is the place you could end up in rather earlier than you hope if you live there!0

Reports that this sorry tale kicked off over an argument party local house prices remain unconfirmed.
