Woodgreen could be getting it's own cross rail 2 station

This is definitely positive news as it means that a small part of wood green will be knocked down to make way for the station to be built. This will slightly improve the ambience of wood green as even a train station is better than whatever is there now. The trouble is that the rest of wood green will still be there.

If they could just build another 999,999 cross rail stations over the rest of wood green then things would really be on the up.

Its worth remembering £30 billion potentially needs to be found to pay for this new rail link. There is some way to go yet before it actually gets built.

Perhaps there should be an annual levy on property owners in Wood Green for 30 years to pay for it.:D:D

This would be only fair, after all the market value of paddington's 1.5 bedroom terraced shed a 45 minute walk from "ally pally" has quadrupled in value since last Tuesday; it's only right that he shares the wealth.

He probably has a few silver eagles left from when her was obsessed with precious metals and was telling everyone they would go to the moon, so perhaps he could donate these to the cause.

Double edged sword possibly? great that it will get a good rail link to help those employed etc, but how many of those there will be able to afford the £1m+ to purchase a one bed flat there once the station opens?
