If you are paying out DDs every month then Halifax Reward would give you £5 pm (£750 needed to go in each month) You need 2 X DDs to go out pm to qualify

Lloyds Club pays interest- the best rate on £4-5K with £1K going in per month. You need 2 x DD s pm to go out

You don't need to switch to open these

FWIW; Club Lloyds needs funding by £1500, per month.

You don't need to do this to receive interest. Paying in £1,500 a month waives the monthly charge - which is therefore obviously a smart thing to do but it is still optional for interest purposes.

[STRIKE]Katiehound's post wasn't wrong. Just perhaps not as complete as it could have been.[/STRIKE]

OK, I concede, it was wrong. And so was I.

It is either wrong because you do not need to fund the account to get the interest or it is wrong because the funding is £1500 not £1K but either way it is wrong.

    OOPs- slipped up there!
    Sorry, sorry, sorry
    Info about Halifax is correct
and yes, you are right and I am wrong- £1500 needed for Club Lloyds.

(Clearly I have too many bank accounts!
£1000 cycles round through a few a/cs including L and £500 cycles thro' TSB and L - therefore fulfilling the conditions!)
