Just 13 here - between me and her upstairs.
Usually this question is put as one of morality rather than legality. I certainly have no problem with it in that regard though.0 -
Morality?!?!?!
Whatever next.0 -
Legality?
Charge me.

We are currently running at about 22 current accounts but lots with the same bank - e.g. between us we have 6 with TSB , 2 sole each and 2 joint...... 6 Halifax Reward, 3 each.....0

34 sole accounts here (although 5 aren't used, but kept for switching offers).
If it's jail for others, the judge will be donning the black cap before sentencing me!0 -
Well if this is becoming a competition i'd best go open some more!

Wow, that's an incredible number of accounts to manage! I'm on 5... one for fixed bills, one for variable expenses, one for personal spending and a couple for saving.2021 MFW #130. Target: £300/£25000 -
Can anyone recommend the best bank account for household bills, and whether you can get any cashback or other perks even if you don't use a full switching service (most offers seem to want you to do this, ie closing your other account, which negates the point which is to have a separate account to help manage bills!).
At the least, is there an account with no fees/a little bit of interest? The fees on some accounts look like the would cancel out any cashback (as my main bills are rent not mortgage, and niche providers like ecotricity)...
any tips? (i'd be paying around £850/month in and out of the account, could probably find a couple of grand to start it off with)."The Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed" - Ghandi0 -

For household bills cashback I believe most current accounts require you to have them setup via direct debit. I can think of Santander 123 & Natwest Reward both charge a monthly fee0 -
You could put your couple of thousand into a TSB Plus (and earn 5% on that) and pay in sufficient on top to cover your bills.
If you have a partner he could have one as well.
You could also have a joint account.
They can be funded from each other if you wish.0
