I am still looking for breakdown cover and was wondering if anyone has used Start Rescue, because their reviews seem quite good.

There's 947 reviews here; should be enough:

Remember use a price comparison site then use Top cashback or Quidco for more money off

I've been with start rescue for 4 years now and have called them out twice.

Very good, no issues. Good customer service and no issues.

    Highly recommended
  • Another satisfied Start Rescue customer. Been with them for a few years now, called them out a few times and help arrived within 30 mins & car always repaired at the roadside. They have a very nifty iphone app (no idea about Android) where you report your breakdown on the app and they call you back knowing your exact location.

    another happy customer.

used countless times over the years (breakdowns) never had a problem.always a different recovery company though as they are just a call centre who put out work to the nearest/available recovery company.nevertheless brilliant service. we were towed home a few years back over 250 miles with 2 children, bad times.never a grumble from any staff/recovery drivers though
Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.

Sorry I know this is an old thread but wondered if any of you had had to use Start Rescue in Europe? Planning on going to France for a week in the summer and they have come back with the cheapest breakdown cover with Europe cover by a lot - I'm suspicious :(
