Hi All,
Can I ask how you guys/girls applied for the switch; did you fill in the switch during the sign up process or do the switch by phone?
I am asking because I will help my parents make the switch but they didn't fill the switch form online so I would like to gain some experience on what’s required over the phone including setting up security and internet banking.
I already have a first direct account so personally I am not eligible for the switch so can't gain any prior experience on the process.
Thanks!

I did it all online. You then have to ring them to arrange internet access by setting up security passwords etc.0
