Mobile Abroad - cheapest options..

Hi

I'm with EE and there deals for roaming in Europe seem pretty poor.

If I order a Three 321 Sim and add a bundle to it, will I be able to use 'Feel at Home' ??

Will that give me free calls, texts and data while in Spain ?

If I set my UK EE phone to forward to the Three sim, will I incur any additional costs ? I get unlimited calls with EE.

Thanks

You will if your phone isn't locked.

They will come from the bundle, not are fee.
And only incoming calls and calls to UK. The same with texts.
IIRC, data connection will be very slow reportedly.

Nothing extra on the top of what EE charge (or not) for forwarding.
  • It's going to cost you £20 this way, unless you need to be in touch with home constantly can you manage on hotel wifi? I think calls are capped at around 20p a minute in Europe but I don't know the exact figure
  • Thanks - the hotel does have wifi included in the room, so that may be a better option.

Depending on the wifi speed, I maybe able to use a client to talk to my phone system and make free calls back to the UK.

    Why £20, not £10?

Well, with Three you even don't need 'Feel at Home' (i.e. a bundle) for incoming calls to be free ;).

Put Three sim in - use it - 'inclusive incoming and outgoing calls' no further fiddling required, but as maybe I'm saving on outgoing calls, I'd better buy the drinks! ;);)
