I bought the phone in Aug 2015, just lately having problems charging
it ,have tried 2 different USB cables , 2 different plugs to no avail , when plugged into a mains socket charging Icon appears , charges it to an indicated 7% and then despite not being used drops to zero ( still plugged in) , Charging port is free of dust / Debris

Any Ideas ??

thanks

Try to charge it when the phone is powered of. If that doesn't work, reset it to factory settings. Try to google your problem, there are a lot of people with charging problems, so you're not alone.

I personally didn't have any issues with iPhone 4s.

Try connecting your phone to your computer and see if iTunes will detect it and charge it from your USB,if not work ,it is the battery problems ,go back where did you buy it.

    Off? ;)
But, as soon as you do that, it switches back on doesn't it??

Better to buy a proper phone IMHO :rotfl:

I know :-), but somebody on internet wrote that, it's worth to try. Forgot to write, try plugging it to computer and it should charge through iTunes when the phone is detected. If nothing works a new battery will :-).
