Why cant i buy any more 02 phones

Some companies e.g. carphonewarehouse place a limit on how many contract phones you can have per household, especially the ones with cashback. However I can't imagine this applies to PAYG handsets as you are basically paying for the cost. Sometimes it's your address--e2save and cpw do not take orders to deliver to student halls and they cancel your order without even telling you anything (as I found out last year). Also people using quidco have complained that cpw has a 'technical glitch' which declines their credit card when they click through from cpw hence forcing them to phone and forfeiting their cashback. Could be any of these things--also check with your bank.0

Best bet would be to place the order over the phone as they can do more checks. I had this problem last year and in the end I gave up.
Having said all that, I have been having problems last couple of days with upgrade order with O2 which have been failing on their system. Finally, today their system has sorted the order out and are showing as dispatched (although I will have 2 phones, and 1 spares battery which I have to send back...or maybe auction on ebay? LOL ).
I think my problem is more to do with the upgrade of their system(s). Yours, however seem to be an old problem.
Anyway, hope you have better luck.0 -

I've had the same problem, tried buying a PAYG phone at different times on three ocassions and each time the orders been declined, I know someone else who has had the same problem. I think it's a system problem with o2, I'll try and place the order over the phone tomorrow.Nearly debt free
