Virgin have changed our booked seats- help!

My bloke and I are flying to NYC tomorrow and booked extra-legroom seating in economy.

I've just checked in online and received the message that our seats have been changed. The message online says 'We're sorry, the seat map is not available for this flight. Please speak to an agent at the Bag Drop desk for more information on seating' and 'seat selection not available'.

However, when looking on seatguru at our new allocation, the seats don't seem to exist! We've been given 45A and 45C. Can you find them? Or do you know what's happening? http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Virgin_Atlantic_Airways/Virgin_Atlantic_Airways_Airbus_A346_2.php

Hmmm.. The flight times were changed a few weeks ago, but the email sent telling us about the changed times specified a340-600.

I can't seem to find anywhere else that details the plane. It's the 15:20 from LHR to EWR.

Just looked and thea330-300(333) has those seat numbers. Although do not beleive you have extra legroom.
Just checked flightaware and VS1 is A330.

Thank you for investigating! Seatguru is still specifying a340-600, but they might not have updated.

Anyone know how I get the extra money we paid for extra legroom refunded?
