  • Hello all!

This is a great idea to keep everyone motivated! I WAS trying to make this my first day of no spending but I'm gonna have to buy a birthday card grrrr.

£10 a week is reasonable though I think. I walk to and from work and bring my own lunch. It's the running-late-in-the-morning-coffee-and-muffin which does me in though!

    Keep it up everyone!

Sort of naughty, but big posh do tonight and needed some things...
£12 cardigan, £7 bag, £3 tights. Have a few bits to take back to Primarks that I brought last week though, which sort of pays for it. Plus £1.50 on salmon sandwhich for lunch.

    Hi Moozie

Holland and Barretts are one of my regular stores, too. I always keep an eye especially for sales. If it is not a secret what did you get there?

I payed my TV license today. Previously I always payed a total amount for a year. But now, just only after 2 weeks here, among sooo wise Money Saving Experts, I decided to pay monthly by direct debit. I feel quite chuffed with myself, like patting myself on the head, good girl, well done.

I also cut monthly voluntary school payment for a child #1 from 25 to 5£/month. Not so chuffed about this, but they can manage. So saved 20£!
