BT cancelation problem

Hi ,
I am new to this forum, so please excuse if any errors. I am having problems with BT. A month ago i ordered BT package for phone, broadband, and mobile and then cancelled within 10 days as my existing provider has offered me a better price after ordering BT.
Now the problem, is BT says it has no record of me calling them to cancel and they have already charged £100 from my account inspite of me not activating anything and returning the setup box and everything(unopened) within 14 days. I have tried to get my phone records from Virgin, which is my existing provider, but they are giving me the records for only chargeable numbers.
The number i used to cancel the BT service is a 0800 number listed in their website for customer care. How do i proceed further so i can get my £100 back? Please help me.
Thank you
