Evening all

DGD is here, has had her tea & is now in bed, she has made a card for us to take to MIL tomorrow.

I've been phoning round getting information about care packages & hospice care etc. Someone told FIL that MIL cannot go into a hospice as they don't provide pain relief! What a load of twaddle.
I've been hoping that someone else would start to take charge of these arrangements, but they all seem either too involved in the infighting or ignoring everything as a way of avoiding the arguments.

It's half term now so I'll see what I can find out & arrange over the next few days.
I was going to get my car serviced but I'll leave it for now in case we need to rush off somewhere.

Hugs to everyone, get well wishes to Judi and RedRuby and anyone else feeling poorly.

HH sorry to hear you've been left with all the arrangements at such a sad time.

Its been a grey day here today, but I have been at home as I finished yesterday. DD has been to school but has now finished for 2 weeks.

Yesterday evening DH went to pick DS up from work in the car and it finally died just before they got back, so unfortunately today I arranged to have the car taken away for scrap as there is nothing else we could do. We should be getting our new car next week, so its a good job I have the week off. I have had to do an online order this week to be delivered tomorrow.

The house has had a good clean and I am up to date on the ironing. I washed all the towels today and will catch up on the washing over the weekend.
