    Morning all.

Yesterday baby girl had her bath and the bathroom had a good clean after, little hairs everywhere., why I don't know as she is brushed regularly. Sorted the garden out for the Winter, took down the bean poles, found some beans at the every back that had dried out, so we have a tub of bean for next year.

Today will be visiting friend this afternoon , dinner will be fish for Mr D and left over beef casserole for me, we will eat a different times tonight. Back to work tomorrow, going to make the most of today.

    Have a good day.xx

I have washing still outside but it has gone very grey and dull outside so hoping it will not rain for at least a couple of hours.

    TA
I am so glad things went well and hope you can both have a relaxing day today after such a hectic time.

I meet older dd in York around two so hoping for a fairly quiet morning perhaps looking up the name of the decorator we used and get a quote for our hall and also try to find the person who said he could do a good deal on carpets.Family are convinced doing this will help the house sell. I know I should be proactive and doing stuff but can't seem to muster the enthusiasm and energy.

Nearly forgot to say that I got a really sweet phone call last night from middle dd to say she had just got home after an eleven hour day and had come home to a defrosted chicken soup and a cottage pie I had made her and it was so much appreciated.

    Hugs to all

    Morning all,

Candlelight, yes i have a chest infection. No wonder i feel as though ive only got half a set of lungs. :(

My appointment was at 7.40 and i was hammering the surgery door down at that time as it was still shut... Only to be told that the surgery doesnt open till 8 and even when i showed her my appointment slip i was told i ought to wait in the porch till 8. I tell you, i was fuming as well as ill. I complained to the doctor and she said i was right to complain and she would deal with the matter. If only they knew how hard it was for me to get there and even harder to walk back....

My prescription was electronically sent to the chemist and ive just chased it up. They will be delivering it this morning with my other medication. One thing i do know, is that i wont be well enough to visit Mom today.

TA i am so glad that the visit to the hospital went smoothly.

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.

  • Hi Judi,

I can just about read your post there seems to be a gremlin in the works.

I am sorry you have a chest infection and sorry about the appointment time. A couple of years ago Himself had an appointment on Good Friday, the receptionist wrote it down and obviously booked it in on the computer. He turns up on the day to find it closed - how did that happen?

Now rest and take your tablets and plenty of fluids

    Hugs

I had problems with gremlins yesterday, I wrote a couple of long posts and the site said my messages were too small

Perdiddling down here, it started last night and hasn't stopped :(

I have been laid up for the last four days, arthritis has really flared up badly, I don't usually cry with the pain but I have done a couple of times.
I went in the garden yesterday to get some runner beans and came a cropper because my knees just gave way  luckily DH was home and carried me in the house. Doped up to the eyeballs with pain killers today and DH has told me I am not to do a thing, which is frustrating, but tbh I don't think I can, even if I wanted to :(
DD's BF has offered to cook tonight and DS is going to wash up, which is a big help.

TA I am glad that things went well yesterday and hope that the treatment helps your DH x

    Get well soon Judi x

Candlelight to be honest from the fuss the two of them made, i am presuming they dont have many early morning appointments. Not my fault, i booked using the system online and it was the only appointment offered. The two Po faces obviously got out of the bed the wrong side and opened their mouths before checking the system.... Not my fault theirs!

The GP was right when she told me to take the antibiotics on a full stomach as it would upset my stomach. I think ive got a growling lion in there but i'd prefer the growling lion to the smattering of burst blood vessels on my body due to coughing.

Ive phoned the home where Mom is, she has got another UTI but the doc has been out to her and she's back on antibiotics. Ive explained that i wont be able to see her on her birthday but ive arranged for my daughter to take her cards and gifts in before she heads off to work in the morning. She'll just have to leave the house a few minutes earlier than normal.

Fb is being a pain... or rather an ex site foreman that hubby and youngest work for is. I dunno why he added me anyway, ive only met him once.

Right i'm off for a bath.

    Afternoon all,

It's been drizzly rain all day :(

Haven't done a lot today. Just the usual work and chores. Had a long phone conversation with DS1 though which was lovely hopefully he is coming to see us soon :)

Going to make a curry for dinner tonight.

Judi - Your GP's online booking system sounds dreadful! Hope you feel better soon.
  • My new doctor is very nice, a sensible girlie too!!! Not met her before and my GP daughter had said to take my blood pressure twice a day for a couple of weeks at varying times and after doing varied levels of activity and then to work out the mean average from the figures I'd recorded, so that's just what I did. I said to the Doc she could take my blood pressure if she really wanted to but the figures she got might not be good for hers and she just laughed!!! Said a lot of people give a high reading as no one likes going to the surgery and to put my coat back on as I was obviously not having any problems and she was very happy to file my figures, bye,bye see you next year Mrs.L, bless her we had a puppy talk as she's got a manic 14 month old springer pup, Oh my, hard work isn't even scratching the surface with springers at that age, I wished her luck and left!!!
