Help - Vauxhall insignia major problem

I agree.
Speak to Vauxhall customer service.
A few hundred miles is nothing.
If you were that way inclined you could get a mileage adjustment service to take 5/600 miles off of the odometer.
To be honest if the entire history was Vauxhall a goodwill would be more likely, you can only ask though.
Talk about rotten luck though.
I can't see how any engine related pulley can fail without warning. There may have been the odd noise as it started to fail which was intermittent.
I had that with the alternator on my previous car, occasional noise was reported, nothing found, alternator pulley disintegrated completely immobilising the car completely. Annoyingly ever since then the car had all kinds of electrical gremlins. Limp modes and DPF going straight to Red instead of Amber.0
