wood burners and asthma

2 out of 4 in our family have mild asthma. Does anyone here have experience of whether a (New, modern) wood burning stove is likely to aggravate asthma?
Thank you

My wife has had asthma all her life as has my elder daughter (now 45). Neither of them have any problems when we have our wood burner alight, which is most nights from now till the end of March
The fumes/smoke goes up the flue not into the room so assuming it's installed correctly there should be no problemsNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
It's never bothered me. If there's any smoke coming into the room, then it's installed wrong - it's supposed to be going up the flue. It's not like an open fire where a poor draw on the chimney can leave the room filling with smoke. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
I have asthma and doesn't effect me. I dislike the GHC at times which can effect me if it gets too warm0
